Terms of Service

These Terms are an agreement between you and Videmak, Inc. (“we”, “us”), the operator of YoCareerAI. By creating an account, signing in with Google, or using YoCareerAI you agree to these Terms and to the policies they refer to: the Privacy Policy, Cookie Notice, Refund and Cancellation Policy, and AI and Automation Disclosure. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. You must use YoCareerAI for your own job search: one person per account, using your own real identity. Accounts may not be shared, sold or used to apply for jobs on behalf of someone else.

YoCareerAI helps you find jobs, prepare application documents, apply, and follow up. Depending on your plan and settings it can: match and rank job postings; draft CVs, cover letters and answers; fill in and submit applications on employer and job-board websites; create candidate accounts on those sites using an application email address; read job-related email in a mailbox you connect; send application emails; add interviews to your calendar; and notify you by email or WhatsApp.

Job postings come from employers, job boards and job-data providers. We work to remove expired, duplicate and fraudulent postings but we do not control or guarantee them. Always check a role and employer before sharing sensitive information or paying anything. Legitimate employers do not ask candidates for payment.

When you turn on AI apply or approve an application in Copilot mode, you appoint YoCareerAI to act as your agent to prepare and submit that application in your name using the information in your profile and the answers you have saved. You can pause automation, change its limits, or switch to Copilot mode (review before submit) at any time.

The application assistant follows these rules, and you agree that it may stop and ask you instead of finishing an application:

• It never invents facts about you. Qualifications, licences, registration numbers, employers, job titles, dates, right to work, visa status, criminal history, religion, health and disability are answered only from what you have provided. If a required question has no answer in your profile, it asks you through the “Needs you” checklist and saves your answer for next time.
• Right-to-work answers apply only to the country you gave them for.
• It signs in to job-site accounts only with a password it generated for an account it created for you, or the application-site password you chose to save. These are stored encrypted.
• It never bypasses identity verification or phone-based multi-factor checks, and never pays application fees. When a step needs you, it hands that step to you.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your profile and for applications submitted in your name. Review what is in your profile, use Copilot mode when you want to check each application, and tell us promptly if something was submitted that you did not intend.

You keep ownership of the CVs, documents and information you upload and of documents we generate for you. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process, adapt and transmit that content only to provide and improve YoCareerAI for you, including sending it to employers and job sites when you apply. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies already sent to employers or kept as described in the Privacy Policy.

You confirm that you have the right to upload your content and that it is truthful. Do not upload other people's personal information unless you are entitled to share it, for example a referee who has agreed to be contacted.

You must not:

• submit false, misleading or exaggerated qualifications, experience, identity or right-to-work information, or use someone else's identity;
• use YoCareerAI to send spam, harass recruiters or employers, or apply in bulk to roles you are clearly not seeking;
• attempt to access other accounts, probe or disrupt our systems, scrape the service, reverse engineer it, or get around plan limits or security controls;
• upload malware or unlawful content, or infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy;
• use YoCareerAI for unlawful employment practices, recruitment fraud, or anything that breaks the law where you or the employer are.

We may limit, suspend or close an account that breaks these rules or puts users, employers or the service at risk. Where reasonable we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

If you connect Google, Microsoft, Zoho, WhatsApp or another service, you authorise us to use it for the features you turn on, as described in the Privacy Policy. Your use of those services remains subject to their terms. You can disconnect them at any time.

Employers, job boards and other third parties make their own decisions and have their own terms. We are not responsible for their actions, their websites, or changes that stop an integration working.

Using YoCareerAI needs a paid plan. New customers start a plan with a free trial: you add a card at checkout, nothing is charged until the trial ends, and if you cancel before it ends you pay nothing. A trial includes a smaller allowance of AI applications (shown in Billing and at checkout); you can end it early with “Start my plan now”, which charges the plan and starts its full allowance. One free trial per person. Plans differ by how many applications they include each month; all plans include the same features. One application credit is one application the AI submits for you; credits renew each billing cycle, unused credits do not roll over, and credits for applications that fail, that you skip, or whose job closes are returned. When the trial ends, plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until you cancel. Prices and allowances are shown on the Billing page and at checkout. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout. We may set a daily limit to protect job sites and the service.

You can cancel any time in Billing. Cancelling during a free trial means you are never charged; cancelling a paid plan stops the next renewal, and you keep it until the end of the period you have paid for. After that, AI applications stop until you choose a plan again; your account and data stay. Plan upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Refunds are covered by the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

If a payment fails we may retry it and limit paid features until it is resolved. We may change prices for future billing periods with at least 30 days' notice; if you do not agree you can cancel before the change takes effect.

We do not guarantee interviews, job offers, employment, salary, visa sponsorship, or replies from employers. AI-generated content can contain mistakes. YoCareerAI does not give legal, immigration, tax or financial advice.

YoCareerAI's software, design, and brand belong to Videmak, Inc. or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use YoCareerAI under these Terms. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.

YoCareerAI is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties such as merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every job site.

To the extent the law allows, neither we nor our suppliers are liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, earnings, opportunities or data. Our total liability for all claims relating to YoCareerAI is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose and USD 100.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your rights as a consumer under mandatory law where you live.

If you are using YoCareerAI other than as a consumer, or to the extent the law allows, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from third-party claims caused by information you provided being false or by your breach of these Terms.

You can stop using YoCareerAI and delete your account at any time in Settings. Deleting your account cancels any paid plan immediately, so no further payments are taken, and deletes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may end these Terms or close an account for a serious or repeated breach, for legal reasons, or if we stop offering the service, in which case we will give reasonable notice and refund any prepaid amount for the unused period.

Sections that by their nature should continue (such as your content licence for applications already sent, disclaimers, liability limits and dispute terms) survive the end of these Terms.

Please contact us first at admin@videmak.org; most problems can be solved quickly. If a dispute is not resolved within 30 days, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be decided by the state or federal courts located in Delaware. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in a small-claims court that has jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer living in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Australia, or another country whose law gives you the right to rely on its mandatory consumer protections or to bring proceedings in your home courts, nothing in these Terms takes those rights away.

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will give you at least 14 days' notice by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using YoCareerAI after that, the new Terms apply; if you do not agree you can cancel and delete your account.

These Terms and the policies they refer to are the whole agreement between you and us about YoCareerAI. If part of them is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with notice to you.
