YoCareerAI collects account information such as name, email address, phone number, authentication details, subscription status, notification preferences, and support requests.

The service also stores career information provided by users, including CVs, resumes, cover letters, qualifications, work history, education history, target roles, preferred locations, salary preferences, visa or work-authorization details, interview notes, application history, and documents the user uploads or generates.

When users connect communication channels, YoCareerAI may store connection metadata, OAuth tokens in encrypted form, external account references, WhatsApp phone numbers, notification records, automation logs, email-thread metadata, recruiter reply summaries, calendar event metadata, and error logs needed to operate the service.

Users may connect a Google account so YoCareerAI can send job application emails, monitor recruiter replies, and create interview or assessment events in Google Calendar. Google account access is optional and requires explicit user consent through Google OAuth.

YoCareerAI requests Gmail send permission to send user-approved or automation-approved application emails and follow-up messages from the user's Gmail account. YoCareerAI requests Gmail read-only permission to identify job-application-related recruiter replies such as interview invitations, assessment requests, offers, rejections, scheduling details, and document requests. YoCareerAI requests Google Calendar event permission to create interview, assessment, test, or recruiter meeting events detected from job-related messages.

YoCareerAI does not request permission to delete Gmail messages, archive messages, manage Gmail settings, manage labels, share calendars, delete calendars, or administer the user's Google account.

YoCareerAI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide user-facing career automation features. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train generalized AI models.

We use information to create and maintain user accounts, build career profiles, match users with jobs, generate career documents, send application emails, monitor job-related replies, schedule interviews, send WhatsApp or email notifications, provide dashboards, process payments, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, and improve reliability of the service.

Automation runs are limited by the user's profile settings, subscription limits, consent choices, and safety controls. YoCareerAI may use AI systems to summarize recruiter replies, draft application material, classify application status, and identify calendar details such as dates, times, locations, and meeting links.

YoCareerAI may share limited information with service providers that help operate the product, including hosting, database, payment, email, calendar, WhatsApp, analytics, security, support, and automation infrastructure providers. These providers receive only the information needed to perform their services.

When the user directs YoCareerAI to apply for jobs or respond to recruiters, relevant career information may be sent to employers, job boards, applicant tracking systems, recruiter email addresses, or other destinations necessary for the requested application workflow.

We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, security investigations, fraud prevention, enforcement of our terms, or protection of the rights and safety of users, the public, YoCareerAI, or Videmak, Inc.

Users may provide a WhatsApp number and initiate a WhatsApp chat with the YoCareerAI service number. YoCareerAI uses WhatsApp to send job-search reports, recruiter reply alerts, interview reminders, automation status updates, and other career-workflow notifications requested by the user.

Users can change notification preferences in their account. Message delivery may depend on WhatsApp availability, user device settings, third-party provider availability, and the user's continued permission to receive messages.

We retain account, billing, consent, security, audit, and automation records for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain operational security.

OAuth credentials are retained until the user disconnects the provider, deletes the account, or the credential is revoked. Email-thread metadata and recruiter snippets are retained for the active workflow and should not be kept longer than 12 months by default. Browser traces and screenshots should be kept no longer than 30 days unless needed for support, abuse investigation, or legal hold. Notification bodies should be deleted or truncated after 90 days where operationally possible.

Users may request export or deletion of personal data by contacting us or using account settings where available. Account deletion removes active product data such as OAuth credentials, external account links, profiles, documents, generated resumes and cover letters, applications, recruiter email records, follow-up drafts, automation records, browser sessions, sessions, and notifications. Some records may be retained where required for legal, tax, billing, fraud-prevention, security, backup, consent, audit, or dispute-resolution purposes.

YoCareerAI uses technical and organizational safeguards such as access controls, encrypted token storage, role-based administrative permissions, audit logs, environment separation, and operational monitoring. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to reduce risk and limit access according to operational need.

Users can update profile information, disconnect integrations, change notification preferences, pause automation, review application activity, and request deletion or export of data. Users can also revoke Google OAuth access from their Google Account permissions page.

YoCareerAI is intended for users who are old enough to use employment, job-search, payment, and communication services in their jurisdiction. The service is not directed to children under 13.
