You will define target architecture, guide engineers, and ensure technical decisions support scalable, secure, cloud-native delivery. Key responsibilities · Define and evolve solution architecture for AWS-hosted .NET / .NET Core applications replacing legacy on-prem and SQL-centric logic. · Produce architecture decision records, reference patterns, and integration designs for APIs, data access, messaging, and identity. · Lead technical discovery related to undocumented stored-procedure business logic and map it to modern service boundaries. · Partner with Database Modernization and API/Integration engineers on migration patterns (strangler, dual-run, cutover). · Establish non-functional requirements: security, observability, performance, resilience, and cost efficiency on AWS. · Review designs and code for adherence to architecture standards; mentor senior engineers. · Collaborate with DevOps on infrastructure-as-code, environments, and deployment topology (containers, serverless, or hybrid as appropriate). Required qualifications · 8+ years software architecture / senior engineering experience with substantial .NET / .NET Core delivery. · Hands-on AWS architecture experience (compute, networking, storage, IAM, databases, messaging). · Deep understanding of migrating monolithic or database-centric applications to service-oriented / cloud designs. · Strong SQL Server knowledge and ability to reason about stored-procedure-heavy systems. · Ability to communicate architecture clearly to engineers and non-technical stakeholders. · Experience guiding distributed Agile teams remotely. Preferred / nice-to-have · AWS Solutions Architect Professional (or Associate with deep practical experience). · Exposure to Azure alongside AWS; Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar IaC. · Marketplace, e-commerce, or high-throughput transactional domain experience. · Familiarity with React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, or polyglot modernization paths. How we hire Candidates complete role-specific skills assessments on the 360 Teams platform, including objective scoring and rubric-graded code or long-answer evaluations, before advancing to interviews with the engagement team. You will be employed through an Employer of Record (EOR) in the Philippines or India, with 360 Business Solutions managing onboarding, ongoing support, and career development. This role requires meaningful working-hours overlap with the client’s US business day; specific overlap expectations, equipment, and benefits are discussed during the hiring process.
