HIM Supervisor

Supervises daily operations of the department to include chart pick-up, process all charts for chart completion, follow up on medical staff incomplete charts, and follow up on medical record requests. Provides staff oversight to monitor the quality of scanned documents to ensure correct patient documents and labels are within charts. Monitors discharge charts to ensure provider dictation is either complete or an incomplete deficiency assigned. Assist with follow-up of printing EMS records in a timely manner for scanning to the patient's legal record.
