Scrum Master

About the Role Our client is looking for an experienced Scrum Master to support agile teams delivering software, automation, and AI-enabled solutions. The Scrum Master will help teams improve delivery, remove blockers, manage risks, and ensure effective collaboration between technical and business teams. Key Responsibilities Agile Delivery Facilitate Scrum events such as Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, and Backlog Refinement. Coach teams on Scrum principles, agile practices, self-management, and continuous improvement. Help create a collaborative, transparent, and accountable team environment. Support Product Owners in maintaining a clear and prioritized backlog. Encourage teams to deliver small, usable increments and gather regular feedback. Delivery Excellence Help teams deliver software solutions consistently and sustainably. Identify and help remove blockers and impediments. Manage and communicate risks, dependencies, assumptions, and delivery constraints. Provide stakeholders with clear updates on progress, priorities, forecasts, risks, and outcomes. Use team and delivery metrics to identify areas for improvement. Support practices such as automated testing, CI/CD, release readiness, and production feedback. Automation and AI Solution Delivery Support teams delivering software, workflow automation, and AI-enabled solutions. Work with Product Owners, technical leads, and business stakeholders to align priorities and delivery plans. Help teams balance innovation and experimentation with realistic delivery commitments. Ensure risks, quality expectations, and business impacts are properly managed. Facilitate collaboration between business stakeholders, engineers, automation specialists, data/AI teams, and users. Support solutions from discovery and development through validation, release, and continuous improvement. Continuous Improvement & Stakeholder Management Facilitate retrospectives and drive practical improvement actions. Help improve team quality, efficiency, predictability, and delivery maturity. Build strong relationships with business leaders, Product Owners, technology teams, and delivery partners. Facilitate discussions, resolve conflicts, and support timely decision-making. Share effective agile practices and lessons learned across teams. Requirements At least 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead supporting software development or digital product teams. Strong knowledge of Scrum principles and agile software delivery. Experience facilitating cross-functional teams and Scrum events. Experience managing risks, dependencies, impediments, and stakeholder expectations. Ability to influence teams and stakeholders without direct authority. Experience working with distributed or global teams. Strong communication, facilitation, coaching, relationship management, and problem-solving skills. Experience using Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps , or similar tools. Willingness to learn emerging technologies, including AI and automation. Willingness to work on a schedule with meaningful overlap with North America teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience with automation, workflow, digital transformation, data, analytics, or AI-enabled projects. Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, cloud platforms, and production support. Experience in benefits administration, outsourcing, financial services, healthcare, or other regulated/complex environments. Scrum or Agile certification such as CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master , or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience. Contract Duration: 9 months (with a possibility of extension / conversion to a permanent role depending on performance/business needs) Shift/Arrangement: US Night Shift Schedule (Hybrid 2-3/week with full onsite training)
