Central Supply Room Clerk

Responsible for planning and directing the procurement of nursing supplies, such as gloves, lifts, scales, beds, mattresses and other medical supplies.Select vendors and supplies, research and evaluate suppliers.Ensure that orders are confirmed and correct and handle shipping errors or returns of damaged merchandise.Issues supplies to specific staff or departments and ensure that vendors provide appropriate safety sheets and materials. Maintain a reference of procurement procedures, current standards and regulations, as well as ensure that the appropriate departments are charged for equipment or supplies. Help develop supply budgets, organize storage areas and supervise the use of supplies in the accordance with federals law or company guidelines. Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In person
