Build and optimize RESTful APIs and database systems for efficient data processing and retrieval. Integrate AI/LLM APIs, semantic search, and RAG capabilities into the platform. Develop secure and reliable integrations with external APIs and third-party services. Optimize application performance, data accuracy, scalability, and security. Collaborate with frontend and AI engineers on product development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. At least 3 years of professional experience in backend development or software engineering. Proficiency in Python, Node.js/TypeScript, Java, or another backend programming language. Experience with backend frameworks, REST APIs, and relational or NoSQL databases. Familiarity with cloud platforms, Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines. Understanding of AI/LLM integrations, vector databases, semantic search, or RAG is an advantage. Strong problem-solving skills, ownership, and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
