Company Driver

The Company Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company vehicles, including 6-wheel and 8-wheel trucks and boom trucks , for the transportation and delivery of personnel, construction materials, tools, equipment, and other company requirements to various project sites. Key Responsibilities Safely operate assigned company vehicles, including 6-wheelers, 8-wheelers, and boom trucks , depending on operational requirements and driver's license restrictions. Transport and deliver construction materials, tools, equipment, and other supplies to project sites and designated locations. Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the assigned vehicle. Check tires, brakes, lights, fluids, battery, fuel, and other basic vehicle conditions before deployment. Immediately report vehicle defects, damages, accidents, or maintenance requirements to the immediate supervisor. Ensure that the vehicle's registration, insurance, permits, and other required documents are available and updated. Secure loads properly and observe the vehicle's allowable capacity and applicable road safety requirements. Assist in the safe loading and unloading of materials and equipment when required. For boom truck assignments, coordinate with authorized personnel during lifting, loading, positioning, and unloading activities and observe established safety procedures. Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned vehicle. Maintain accurate trip tickets, fuel records, mileage, delivery documents, and other required vehicle records. Follow approved routes, schedules, dispatch instructions, and project/site requirements. Observe company safety policies, traffic laws, and applicable site safety regulations at all times. Perform other driving, delivery, and operational support duties as may be assigned by Management. Qualifications At least High School Graduate or equivalent. Must possess a valid Philippine Professional Driver's License with the appropriate DL codes/restrictions for the type and gross vehicle weight of the vehicle to be operated . Must have actual experience driving 6-wheel and/or 8-wheel trucks . Boom truck driving/operation experience is highly preferred. Familiar with Metro Manila and nearby provincial routes; willingness to travel to different project sites. Knowledgeable in basic vehicle inspection, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. Familiar with proper loading, securing, and transportation of construction materials and equipment. Must have a good driving record and demonstrate safe and defensive driving practices. Physically capable of performing duties associated with delivery and site operations. Willing to render overtime, work on weekends/holidays, or travel out of town when operationally required.
