Material Qualification Specialist

Our Opportunity Work Location: Perth Office – Fortescue's Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people. International and site travel may be required. Roster: Monday to Friday We are seeking a Material Qualification Specialist to join Fortescue's Aftermarket team. Reporting to the Project Manager Aftermarket, you will be responsible for assessing, testing and qualifying parts, materials, components, and consumables for use across our Aftermarket operations. Working closely with Aftermarket, Supply Chain, Asset Management, China Operations and suppliers, you will lead qualification activities from initial assessment through to implementation, supporting safe, reliable and commercially sound decisions that reduce operating costs without compromising performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities Plan and lead material, component and supplier qualification activities from initial assessment through trials, validation, approval and implementation.
