Senior Java Developer (Resilience Specialist)

About the role We are looking for a Senior Backend Java Developer with solid experience in microservices environments and distributed architectures, specialized in the development of resilient, highly available applications prepared to operate in critical production environments. The selected person will participate in the design, development, and evolution of backend solutions, applying advanced resilience and fault tolerance patterns to guarantee the stability and continuity of services. Senior Java Developer with experience in Spring Boot, microservices, and resilient architectures , accustomed to designing robust solutions in distributed environments, applying advanced fault tolerance patterns and guaranteeing the availability of critical applications in production. What you'll do Development and maintenance of microservices based on Java and Spring Boot. Design and implementation of resilience and fault recovery mechanisms. Application of architectural patterns oriented towards high availability. Optimization of performance and stability of critical services. Participation in code reviews and definition of best practices. Resolution of complex incidents in production environments. Collaboration with architecture, operations, and development teams. Participation in continuous improvement and technological modernization initiatives. What we're looking for Minimum 4 years of experience with Java. Experience with Java 12 or higher versions. Advanced mastery of Spring Boot. Development of REST APIs and microservices architectures. Experience in distributed environments and high availability systems. Experience with Resilience4j or equivalent technologies. Implementation of resilience patterns: Circuit Breaker. Retry with Exponential Backoff. Bulkhead. Rate Limiting / Throttling. Design of fault-tolerant systems and automatic recovery from errors. Design of decoupled microservices. Management of synchronous and asynchronous communications between services. Performance and scalability optimization of backend applications. Nice to have Kubernetes. Istio Service Mesh. API Gateway (Kong, Apigee or similar). Docker. Clean Code. TDD (Test Driven Development). Continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
