Transportation Dispatcher

About the Role Flow Progressive Logistics is seeking Transportation Dispatchers to join the Operations – Transportation team. This full-time role is based in the Makkah region, with opportunities in Jeddah and Al Jubail. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience. Key Responsibilities Schedule and assign drivers and trucks based on delivery timelines, load requirements, and route efficiency. Monitor daily dispatch activities and adjust plans in case of delays, urgent requests, or operational changes. Coordinate with drivers, warehouse, customer service, and transportation teams to ensure smooth delivery execution. Track trips through TMS/GPS systems and maintain accurate dispatch and delivery records. Verify trip sheets, delivery notes, driver logs, and related documentation. Monitor vehicle utilization, fuel consumption, and delivery performance. Ensure compliance with company policies, transport regulations, and safety requirements. Report and escalate delays, incidents, resource shortages, and operational bottlenecks. Support shift handovers, vehicle maintenance coordination, and driver availability planning. Qualifications and Experience A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in transportation dispatch or a related operational role. Demonstrated ability to manage scheduling and logistics efficiently. Experience with TMS/GPS systems for tracking and record-keeping. Work Environment This role is part of the Operations – Transportation team, focusing on ensuring efficient logistics and delivery operations within the Makkah region, specifically in Jeddah and Al Jubail.
