About the Role Marriott International is seeking a Host/Hostess to join their team in Medina. This full-time position is suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on providing a welcoming and organized dining experience for guests. Key Responsibilities Greet guests upon arrival and determine the number in their party. Seat guests efficiently at clean, available tables, ensuring chairs are pulled out and current menus are presented. Guide guests through dining areas and offer assistance as needed. Arrange tables, chairs, and settings, organizing seating for groups with specific requirements. Verify that place settings are complete with napkins, clean silverware, and all standard items. Inspect menus for currency, cleanliness, quantity, and presentation. Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day using "clean-as-you-go" procedures. Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, and guest safety and well-being. Adhere to all company safety and security policies, reporting incidents and completing required training. Ensure a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, maintaining confidentiality and protecting company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, using clear and professional language. Answer telephones with appropriate etiquette. Foster positive working relationships, support team goals, and address employee concerns professionally. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. Qualifications and Experience 0-1 years of relevant experience.
