Test Engineer Autonomous Systems

You will execute on-water tests for autonomous surface vehicles, operate and monitor autonomy systems, collect and analyze test data, and document discrepancies. You will support vessel preparation, test planning, reports, hardware-in-the-loop testing, and simulation-based testing, including time offshore. Responsibilities ---------------- * Execute on-water test events for autonomous surface vehicles * Support vessel checkouts, launch and recovery operations, and pier-side preparation * Operate and monitor autonomy systems during test events * Collect, manage, and perform first-pass analysis of test data * Identify, document, and triage system discrepancies and anomalies in Jira * Contribute to test plans, procedures, and readiness reviews * Author after-action reports and test reports * Support hardware-in-the-loop and simulation-based testing Requirements ------------ * Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline, computer science, related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience * 3+ years of test, integration, or field-operations experience with complex systems * Hands-on experience testing or operating autonomous or unmanned systems * Ability to work offshore on vessels for extended periods in harsh conditions * Experience with Atlassian Jira * Technical writing skills for test and after-action reports * Willingness and ability to travel up to 40%, including offshore time * US citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a US Secret security clearance Benefits -------- * Equity options and/or restricted stock units * Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance * 401k retirement benefits with employer match * Learning and wellness stipends * Paid time off
