Now Hiring: Veterinarian – Meat Inspection For our client – we are currently looking for veterinarians to join the team and support official meat inspection work. Your Responsibilities Antemortem inspections: animal welfare, transport fitness, and arrival control Slaughter line inspection: focus on animal health, disease detection, and food safety Control tasks including hygiene, animal welfare, supervision, audits, and certification Preparation of daily inspection reports and case handling (training provided) Inspection of animal transports upon arrival at the slaughterhouse Collaboration with meat inspectors; line inspections only occasionally performed by official veterinarians Your Profile Veterinary diploma (EU) and eligibility for authorization in Denmark (we assist with application) Training period during authorization processing (approx. 4 weeks) No prior experience in meat inspection required – full training will be provided Basic Microsoft Office skills and ability to learn new systems quickly Professional and responsible attitude – able to work efficiently, even under pressure Strong team spirit and communication skills Conversational English skills – minimum B1 level Willingness to learn Danish (essential for daily work Good standing certificate from country of diploma, issued within the last 3 months Flexibility regarding work locations across Denmark depending on needs and production levels Having a category B driving license and your own car is an advantage ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ What We Offer Danish employment contract in accordance with national labor laws Attractive salary Possibility of a permanent contract after 6 months Monthly salary payments – with the option of DKK 1,000/week prepayment while awaiting tax card Rotating shift schedule (day and night shifts); shift hours may vary slightly based on operations Full relocation support, including accommodation, tax card, CPR number, and health insurance All legal employment documentation in Denmark will be handled by our team 24/7 support from our coordinator team and emergency hotline __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Ready to join a company that values your skills and supports your professional development in Denmark?
