In the Profiling unit of Telefónica Cybersecurity & Cloud Tech, we guarantee the security and protection of information through access control and identity management. We focus on developing, implementing, and operating solutions that allow our clients secure and efficient access while maintaining data integrity and confidentiality. WHAT WILL YOUR DAY-TO-DAY BE LIKE? We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join a strategic project within the technology sector, participating in the development of services with high technological impact. Your day-to-day: Develop high-performance backend software (Java) Design and implement robust technical architectures that ensure scalability, resilience and efficiency. Actively participate in the full development cycle (coding, testing, deployment, observability) Continuously improve code quality through sound engineering practices and AI tools. Proactively detect and resolve performance issues and technical risks. AND FOR THIS, WE BELIEVE IT WOULD BE IDEAL IF YOU HAD... Education Higher degree in computer science or telecommunications (or recognized equivalent qualifications) Experience: Advanced proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming. Solid experience in software engineering, technical architecture and best practices. Ability to leverage AI solutions for automation and development optimization. Experience in Digital Identity environments (Desired) Skills: Strategic Thinking High-level design Technical leadership To perform the role, the skills that would best fit the team and the project would be: Initiative and proactiveness Good communication skills with different levels and stakeholders (users and IT area), interpersonal skills, and customer orientation.
