Senior Data Engineer

You will build and maintain data pipelines, integrate external data, develop product and internal applications, enhance blockchain reporting and reconciliation, improve data quality and near-real-time processing, and create self-service data tools. Responsibilities ---------------- * Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines * Integrate external data sources * Develop applications for customer-facing products and internal systems * Enhance blockchain reporting infrastructure and automated reconciliation systems * Ensure data quality and auditability * Optimize data systems for near-real-time processing * Develop self-service data tools * Research and prototype data-engineering technologies Requirements ------------ * Computer Science engineering degree or equivalent * 6+ years of combined software engineering and data engineering experience * TypeScript, Node.js, or Python experience * Postgres or MySQL experience * RESTful API design experience * Data pipeline and ETL experience * Data warehouse and data modeling experience * Systems design and event-driven systems experience * Kafka experience * Unit and functional testing and debugging experience * Microservices and service-oriented architecture experience * Git, GitHub, CI, JIRA, and Confluence experience * Availability for on-call rotations
