Engineering Technician

About the Role St. Regis is seeking an Engineering Technician to join their team. This full-time role involves responding to guest repair requests, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience. Key Responsibilities Respond to and address guest repair requests promptly. Communicate effectively with guests and customers to resolve maintenance issues. Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication. Visually inspect tools, equipment, and machines for proper function and potential issues. Carry and manage necessary equipment, such as tools and radios. Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment. Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed. Record information for unfinished calls before shift changes. Safety and Compliance Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures. Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries. Complete all required safety training and certifications. Properly store flammable materials according to safety guidelines. Guest and Team Interaction Welcome and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards. Anticipate and address guests’ service needs, including assisting individuals with disabilities. Thank guests with genuine appreciation. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues. Support the team in achieving common goals and respond appropriately to employee concerns. Communicate with others using clear and professional language. Physical Requirements and Professional Standards Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Navigate stairs, service ramps, and ladders as required. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors. Qualifications 2-5 years of experience in an engineering or maintenance technician role. Ability to perform physical tasks as outlined above. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Commitment to safety and quality standards.
