Senior Project Control Engineer

About the Role ;">Parsons Corporation is seeking a Senior Project Control Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Riyadh. This full-time position involves providing specialized guidance and assistance in project and cost control, ensuring projects are managed effectively against established baselines. Key Responsibilities Provide guidance and specialized assistance for complex project and cost control issues. Analyze, evaluate, and forecast project status against baseline schedules. Establish baseline budgets for resources, revenue, and cost using an appropriate Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) in coordination with Project Managers. Analyze, evaluate, forecast, and report on cost status against established baselines, collaborating with the planning team. Prepare and update various weekly and monthly cost tracking reports. Establish resource, revenue, and cost projections for projects in coordination with project teams. Perform variance analysis against baseline projections and recommend corrective actions. Utilize historical data and trends for future planning and forecasting. Monitor and track project progress, performing Earned Value Management (EVM), including calculation and reporting of EV, EAC, and ETC to assess performance and forecast final project cost. Participate in monthly and quarterly reviews, supporting the project team in explaining variances and justifications. Support the Project Director in reviewing and finalizing business plans. Complete performance reviews for direct reports and support personnel development. Customize project control systems to meet specific project requirements. Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper cost allocation and full visibility for the project cost control function. Develop and maintain schedules for construction and design projects. Support the billing and collection process, from invoice preparation to coordination with stakeholders for timely collection. Prepare multiple trackers and logs to monitor cost-related information and issues. Supervise and mentor Project Controls engineers as required. Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as appropriate. Qualifications and Experience A minimum of 10 years of experience in project control and cost control roles. Demonstrated ability to analyze, evaluate, and forecast project status and costs. Proficiency in setting up baseline budgets and performing variance analysis. Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and reporting.
