Logistics Supervisor

You will supervise hourly logistics employees and oversee inventory receiving, storage, issuance, shipping, and receiving activities. You will improve operational safety, service levels, inventory accuracy, material replenishment, stock rotation, and environmental controls. You will lead improvement projects, develop employees, and approve timekeeping records. Responsibilities ---------------- * Manage and develop an hourly workforce * Assess performance, provide feedback, and address performance issues * Improve operations and maintain a safe work environment * Manage inventory receiving, storage, and issuance * Lead cost-saving and continuous-improvement initiatives * Ensure cycle counting and audit procedures are followed * Develop service routes and material replenishment processes * Supervise shipping and receiving operations * Ensure FIFO stock rotation and shelf-life storage procedures * Maintain effective environmental controls for stored materials * Approve employee timekeeping records Requirements ------------ * Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of professional experience in materials management, supply chain, or production/manufacturing, or 4+ years of such experience in lieu of a degree * Willingness to travel up to 25% * Availability for a 12.5-hour day or night shift
