Field Officer

The Field Officer is responsible for identifying, recruiting, and onboarding new agents and merchants while promoting the organization's mobile money services in assigned areas. The role includes conducting market mapping, collecting and verifying KYC documents, supporting account activation, maintaining strong relationships with agents and merchants, and providing ongoing field support. The Field Officer is also responsible for monitoring agent performance, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, reporting field activities and onboarding progress, maintaining accurate documentation, and performing other duties assigned by the Line Manager.Job Details: Identify and recruit potential agents and merchants in target locations.Conduct market mapping to find high – potential business areas.Promote mobile money services to prospective partners.Guide agents and merchants through the onboarding process.Collect and verify required documents (KYC).Ensure accurate data entry into onboarding systems.Conduct regular field visits to ensure active participation.Build strong relationships with agents and merchants.Support account activation and setup.Address issues, complaints, and operational challenges.Monitor activation rates and early-stage actively levels.Report onboarding progress and field insights to the line manager.
