Medical Science Liaison

Overview Natera is hiring a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in Oncology for a field-based, remote role focused on Northern California. The position centers on scientific engagement with oncology providers, clinical education, and field insights for Natera’s molecular diagnostics portfolio.

Responsibilities Build and maintain scientific relationships in the assigned territory and support Medical Affairs activities. - Establish and maintain relationships with oncology healthcare providers and key opinion leaders - Deliver accurate, balanced education on oncology molecular diagnostics and clinical data - Identify and communicate field insights, including treatment trends, unmet needs, and competitive dynamics - Respond to unsolicited medical inquiries in a timely, compliant manner - Support advisory boards, medical education programs, clinical trial, and research initiatives - Travel extensively across the territory for clinical engagement and conferences

Requirements The role prefers an advanced healthcare or scientific degree and oncology or molecular diagnostics experience. - Advanced healthcare or scientific degree preferred; minimum Master's degree required - Prior Medical Affairs or MSL experience in oncology or molecular diagnostics preferred - Must reside within the assigned Northern California territory - Ability to work independently and remotely while maintaining a team-oriented work ethic - Ability to explain complex genetic testing data to oncology specialists - High personal accountability and sound scientific judgment
