Localization Program Manager

Overview Roblox is hiring a Localization Program Manager to lead end-to-end localization for its products and work cross-functionally with product, engineering, design, and international teams. The role is based in San Mateo, CA and includes a salary range of $167,070 to $206,580 USD. Responsibilities - Own the i18n and l10n process for features from 0 to 1 by partnering with Product, Engineering, Design, International, and Community stakeholders - Be the voice of international users across the company - Integrate localization requirements early in the development cycle with product, engineering, and design teams - Develop and execute localization strategies aligned with product roadmaps and business goals - Define localization requirements, scope, and timelines for products and features - Guide stakeholders on localization best practices and efficient execution - Identify and refine technical and process issues affecting localized product relevancy, quality, and functionality - Partner with the International/localization team to ensure resources and delivery standards are met Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Localization, International Studies, or related field, or equivalent experience - 8+ years of experience in localization or program management, ideally in tech or SaaS - Strong understanding of localization tools, CAT systems, and translation management platforms - Proven experience localizing products for multiple languages and markets - Strong communication and collaboration skills across cultures and time zones - Knowledge of internationalization standards - Highly organized, strategic, and able to prioritize with bias toward action - Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions - Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus Benefits - Annual salary range: $167,070 to $206,580 USD for San Mateo-based roles - Eligible for equity compensation and benefits - Office-based roles are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday Source https://careers.roblox.com/jobs/7813041?gh_jid=7813041
