Engineering Manager - Account Security

Overview Roblox is hiring an Engineering Manager for its Account Security pod within the Safety organization. The role focuses on reducing account takeover risk, leading a 7+ IC team, and shaping account security strategy for a large-scale consumer platform. Responsibilities - Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team of 7+ ICs - Define and present Roblox’s Account Security strategy and roadmap with product and data science partners - Reduce account takeover risk and mitigate the impact of remaining compromises - Stay technically involved through code contribution, architectural reviews, and system deep dives - Work on product and infrastructure changes that improve security and trust - Consult on privacy and security reviews where relevant Requirements - Experience in account security, identity, fraud detection, or abuse detection - Track record of leading security or abuse-fighting features from idea through launch - People leadership experience, including growing engineering teams - Ability to think strategically and technically about account takeover mitigation Benefits - Annual salary range: $295,250 to $345,040 USD - Equity compensation eligible - Full-time employee benefits are available - Hybrid onsite schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday onsite, optional Monday and Friday Source https://careers.roblox.com/jobs/7940279?gh_jid=7940279
