Data Analyst, Operations (IP & Legal Compliance)

Overview Roblox is hiring a Data Analyst, Operations focused on IP and Legal Compliance within Trust & Safety Operations. The role owns analysis, dashboards, KPI reporting, and cross-functional insights for intellectual property enforcement and compliance workflows. Responsibilities - Own analysis and reporting for IP Operations and Legal Compliance workflows - Deliver recurring KPI packs for senior leadership - Perform trend and cohort analysis to identify opportunities and build business cases - Define and maintain metric definitions, KPI hierarchies, and analytical guardrails - Design and maintain operational reports and dashboards - Derive actionable insights from relevant operational data - Monitor trends in digital rights management, regulatory compliance, and analytics best practices Requirements - 7+ years of experience in professional quantitative analysis and program management - Understanding of intellectual property operations and legal compliance processes in tech - Advanced SQL skills including complex queries, CTEs, and window functions - Working knowledge of Git and Python and/or R preferred - Cross-functional leadership experience with Legal, Product, Engineering, and Operations - Bachelor’s degree in a technical or analytical field preferred; MBA or MS preferred or equivalent experience Other Relevant Heading Office-based roles are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday unless otherwise noted.
