Software Engineer, iOS

Overview Pinterest is hiring a Software Engineer, iOS to build Pinner-facing mobile features and frameworks. The role is based in Ontario with hybrid in-office collaboration and includes a salary range for Canada-based applicants. Responsibilities - Build Pinner-facing frontend features in iOS - Contribute to the product development process from ideation to implementation and release - Prototype rapidly, run A/B tests, and build scalable solutions for millions of users - Partner with design, product, and backend teams to build end-to-end functionality - Use automated testing to deliver high-quality features - Leverage AI for drafting, prototyping, synthesizing information, and automating repeatable tasks Requirements - Deep understanding of iOS development and best practices in Objective-C and/or Swift - 2+ years of industry iOS application development experience - Experience building consumer or business-facing products - Ability to write reliable and maintainable code used by other engineers - Strong collaboration and communication skills - Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience - Demonstrated ability to use AI effectively with critical evaluation and verification of AI-assisted work Other Relevant Heading - This is an open vacancy - The company uses artificial intelligence to screen applicants - This position is not eligible for relocation assistance - Role can be situated anywhere in Ontario - In-office collaboration is required 1-2 times per half - Canada-based applicants only: $139,378 to $189,378 CAD Source https://pinterestcareers.com/jobs?gh_jid=6922682
