Product Designer, Risk

Overview Stripe is hiring a Product Designer for its Risk team in Ireland/United Kingdom. The role focuses on simplifying complex, high-impact experiences that help businesses start, stay compliant, and grow with confidence.

Responsibilities - Translate complex systems, policies, and operational constraints into clear product experiences - Identify opportunities to improve coherence across journeys, touchpoints, and surfaces - Partner with PMs, engineers, researchers, operations, and strategists to shape product direction - Develop long-term strategy and pragmatic short-term solutions - Design, prototype, and communicate ideas through storytelling and demos - Use qualitative and quantitative signals to evaluate impact - Work with engineering to ensure strong craft and implementation quality - Contribute shared patterns and systems for the broader Risk organization

Requirements - 8+ years of relevant product design experience at a product-driven technology company - A portfolio showing visual craft, interaction design, and systems thinking - Experience with complex product areas involving multiple stakeholders and constraints - Strong product thinking and ability to shape direction - Ability to prototype and design across multiple touchpoints and surfaces - Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Other Relevant Heading Preferred qualifications include systems thinking, strong product judgment beyond the UI, a focus on quality from concept through implementation, and comfort in fast-moving environments with changing priorities.
